FOUNDATION 1

The first foundation is our physical body. There are key areas that we can address that will help us to heal and move towards wholeness. The physical body is where we live! And it is vitally important that you look at including the three basic elements of keeping your body healthy.

These include healthy eating, exercise, and sleep. When we are giving our body the correct nutrition through healthy food, and  giving ourselves even a light amount of exercise each day, and as we get our sleeping in good timing, we will start to see an improvement in how we feel, and each day can see us supporting ourselves on a physical level for our further healing and movement towards wholeness.

We can also bring in the support of professionals, who can help us with our goals for physical healing and strengthening our body, and helping us with any of these aspects of healing and strengthening the body.

FOUNDATIONAL FOODS

Eating Your Way To Great Health

TIP 1

Eat Certified Organic

We must take care of our body. And one of the prime ways of doing this is to eat healthy! We will naturally want to be looking to incorporate a healthy diet which is hopefully mostly certified organic foods.

Raw Fruits and Vegetables, Meat and Dairy

Certified organic foods will give us the greatest amount of nutrients, and to preferably look for raw fruits and vegetables that you can eat, and depending upon your diet, to choose meat and dairy that is also organic.

TIP 3

This activity will help support you based upon the level of the nutrients and quality of the food you are eating every day.

It is highly important that you are eating healthy food, rich with nutrients.

TIP 4

The way you eat your food is also important. It is best to start with a large meal for breakfast and slowly reduce portion size throughout the day to dinner.

Make sure you set time aside to eat your meals with enjoyment.

HEALTHY EXERCISE

TIP 1

Start Daily

If you can put in at least 20 minutes of exercise each day, you will find that you are helping your body to become stronger. If you enjoy exercise you can go for a longer period, such as 40 minutes to 2 hours, depending upon how much you want to put in to your physical healing.

TIP 2

Start Slow And Easy

Take exercise slowly. You may want to start with a stretching practice that you do for two weeks, which can enter into a more vigorous exercise regime that you can build up over weeks and months.

TIP 3

To get started with exercise, and if you feel especially challenged in this area, simply go for a 20 minute walk each day, and build up your strength that way.

TIP 4

Physical exercise will help you to build a strong body, and you will start to feel much better physically once you have begun to build strength.

If you feel a bit tired starting, don't let this stop you as this is a normal adaptive process. Once you get over the fitness hill, it's all downhill and you will want to keep this habit up all on your own.

Sleep is vitally important for your physical and mental wellbeing. There is a vast amount of benefit in having a sleeping schedule that you keep to each night.

Getting to bed before 10:30pm each night will ensure that you stay in keeping with your circadian rhythm

TIP 3

When you get to sleep is just as important as where you sleep. Make sure that your bed and room are set up for a good sleep.

Keep A Routine

When you are getting good sleep you will notice how good you feel. Make sure you keep a routine with your sleeping patterns, this is vitally important and will help you when you are awake.
