NEVER STOP YOUR MEDICATION

Medical Prescription

Seek Medical Advice Before Changing Medication

Do not stop taking your anti-psychotic medication without the approval of your professional guidance. Stopping or reducing your medication without your doctor’s approval may cause psychosis if you are not ready for it to be reduced.

Hesitating, stopping concurrently or stopping the medication all together can bring symptoms of psychosis back.

Try This Tip

If you are feeling distressed at this moment, feel your feet on the floor, then feel your legs, then your torso, then your arms and head.

Now, take some deep breaths into your stomach, and observe the room you are in, and now write down a list of people you can call, and call them so you can talk to them about what is going on for you.
