Water

Water is vital to sustain life on Earth.

It can be a great idea to give some mindfulness to what you are drinking each day.

High quality water can help your body to function much more effectively. It can also have a healing and cleansing effect upon the body, which can help the mind to function more effectively also.

In the book, “How To Eat, Move, and Be Healthy,” written by Paul Check, he says that an ideal amount of water to drink each day is “Body weight (in kg) x 0.033 = how much water to drink in litres.”

So weight yourself, and then calculate the amount of water to drink in litres. It may be a few litres, and getting good quality water may cost you a bit more than drinking tap water, though the health benefits are profound.

In the book, Paul Chek also says (about buying water), “Some of the top quality brands are: Evian, Volvic, Vittel, Fiji and Trinity. Water from an artesian (water naturally flows to the surface) well is ideal.”

If you can search your supermarket for artesian water (water that runs to the surface from a well), look for one of these brands.

It can also be a great idea to reduce your intake of coffees, milk, soda and juices by replacing it with good quality water. You can even reduce your intake of food by drinking more water before a meal.

Make sure you are drinking good quality water each day, and remember the extra cost you are putting into the good quality water you are drinking is well worth it.

If you would like to know more about health and fitness, diet and sleep, then get the book, “How To Eat, Move, and Be Healthy,” by Paul Chek. He is one of the greatest pioneers into how to be healthy, and his advice is sound and based on fact.

If you are making the move to drinking high quality water, search through your local supermarkets for the brands listed on this blog, make sure you can afford the amount needed to keep you hydrated each day, and remember to keep water with you at all times, whether you are at home, or out and about.

Here’s to good health!
